This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of attending Animecon Richmond 2025, and I’m still buzzing with excitement! Whether you’re a longtime anime fan or just dipping your toes into the fandom, this con was an unforgettable celebration of everything we love about anime, cosplay, gaming, and pop culture.
Animecon Richmond 2025 delivered on every front. Great organization, friendly staff, and an electric atmosphere made it one of my favorite con experiences to date. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it.

One of the best parts of the weekend was talking directly with attendees. Whether they were asking about my creative process, looking for inspiration to start their own projects, or just stopping by to say hello—it all reminded me why I do this.
The Future of Darkchild Studios
Animecon Richmond gave me a huge boost of motivation to keep pushing forward. I’ve already got ideas for future issues, new merch, and maybe even a new graphic novel down the line. Big things are coming.
